How to Use
Determine if a county is safe to live in based off its previous natural disasters!
To use, enter a zip code or click on the county. More detailed information will show up in the popup bar on
the right. You can select the year(s) you are interested in getting information about by brushing over the year
chart on your right. If no year is selected, information automatically displays for 2020. The map shows natural disasters
declared by FEMA from 1953 up until the present day. The map includes disasters from all 50 states, and some U.S. territories.
