About users

The world map about user distribution (Many users don't provide their geo info at all or they provided too much non-standard data, which made it difficult to process, so we are using data from official survey, that's why the numbers didn't match and we start from 2015), the stacked area chart presenting user growth and the bar chart revealing the top 10 users below will be updated when you scroll all the way down to 2020.

About posts

With a selected year, this part using post data now demonstrates the frequency of tags by a force-directed bubble chart and relationships with each other by an edge bunding chart.

For the tag trends part, we have a selector to filter whatever tags you might be interested in and display the trends of tag use over time on this multiple line chart.

This page shows the top 70 popular tags in the selected year and the frequencies of two tags used in the same post.

Top: The radius of the blue circle represents the number of total posts that year. They are clickable to change years.

Left: The radius of the red circle shows the number of that tag being used that year. Please hover over it to know further details.

Right: The text in the right chart is also hoverable to focus the correlation between that tag and other tags, the wider the link is, the more frequent they are used together.

Arrow: The popularity of the corresponding tag drops clockwise along the arrow.
